We're now into our second week of looking at the fabulous world of weather! So far we've presented the weather forecast in the role play area, transformed weather data as a bar chart, thought about what clothes we might need in different parts of the world and made our own wind vanes and rain gauges.
We're now looking more extreme types of weather. We looked at Hurricane Ophelia in English and used the computers to find and select information. In Aistear we're making fact files about hurricanes and tornadoes and even building storm chasing tornado tanks! It has been a lot of fun! In Maths we've been investigating the column method of addition and in Irish we've been looking at Siopadóireacht.
