We've had a fabulous first week back looking at Newbridge and the history of the town. We had great fun looking at old and new maps of the town and it's river.
You can see Newbridge from above here... https://www.google.ie/maps/@53.1714431,-6.8270012,7963m/data=!3m1!1e We wrote books about Newbridge and it's history, built bridges and fished in the Liffey in the role play area and drew maps of our journey to school. In English we have begun to look at story writing and in Maths we continued looking at our number skillls. In Irish we have been looking at the topic Caitheamh Aimsire.

NEWBRIDGE!We'll be sharing more during the week, but for now, here is a link to the National Library of Ireland website, where you can explore some fabulous photographs of Newbridge in the past.
